You like to be respected, and you feel that your time is valuable. Real estate professionals feel the same way. When you ask your agent to show you properties, be mindful that they need to schedule the appointment. Unless the property is vacant, this usually requires co-coordinating the showing with the homeowner’s approval. Give them time to do that. If you want to see multiple properties on the same day, be aware that if you suddenly decide to omit one, it will change the whole schedule and involve numerous phone calls. Do not call them at unreasonable hours or have unreasonable requests. Do not cancel at the last minute unless it is unavoidable. Share important information with them. With so many schedules to consider and appointments to juggle, buying or selling a house can be a complicated process, and the need to work together with consideration and respect and becomes paramount. And of course, a positive attitide always makes a project go forward easier and more smoothly.
