There is research from one online real estate database company showing that, in recent years, homes listed for sale in the first half of May sold for more money and more quickly than the average listing throughout the year. Nationwide, typical U.S. homes listed for sale between May 1 and May 15 tended to sell for about 0.7% more (about $ 1,600) and about six days faster than usual. This two-week window of opportunity varies from market to market, beginning from the second half of March to the first half of June.
