“GOOD QUESTIONS” 

An excellent question to ask a potential listing agent for your home is, “What is your marketing strategy for my particular needs?” Ask if they do a direct mail campaign and whether it would be beneficial in your case. How often does the agent plan to advertise, and where? WIll the property be marketed online, and if so, what sites? Does the agent take their own photgraphs or hire a professional? Will they be providing a virtual tour? Is an aerial shot something that would showcase your land and the home’s placement on it? What does your agent see that could potentially detract from the listing, and do they have advice about to how to remedy the problem? Of course, there’s no question that two of the first things we do for our sellers is provide them with a market analysis as well as a marketing plan outline our responsibilities.
